Pathways to Eagle

On Friday, August 4, eight scouts headed to Bolingbrook for a campout that focused on attaining Merit Badges.  Prepared scouts were able to earn up to four merit badges on Saturday.

The excitement started on the way to Pathways when the troop stopped for dinner at Portillo's.  A chunk of hot dog became lodged in the throat of one scout.  Scoutmaster Byam, fresh out of CPR training, administered the Heimlich Maneuver.  Moments later, the scout was able to finish the rest of his hot dog.
